H125 GACA licence check — Capt. Dermot Fahy

Capt. Dermot Fahy's H125 GACA licence check (tentatively Sun 27 Sep): (1) the POI's availability to assist if THC's DPE is unavailable; (2) how the check would be run: would the POI observe from the rear seat while THC Check Pilot Capt. Stephan Mayer conducts it, or occupy the left seat as the checking pilot?

Scope: NAJD 4 extension (DR-14, BLVD-1, BLVD-2, MRBA), NAJD 6, NAJD 7, and RYA 5 in full (KA to MALHAM). Also open: whether the Single/Multi-Engine designation on the published Riyadh UVR 25K chart itself carries the single-engine authorisation.

Two-fold. (1) Request that GACA progress the single-engine route approval for the City Tour routes, now that they are published. (2) Ask whether that separate approval is still required at all: the Riyadh UVR 25K chart legend differentiates a Single/Multi-Engine Aircraft Route from a Multi-Engine Aircraft Route, and the NAJD routes are drawn in the single/multi-engine colour — so does the AIP publication itself carry the single-engine authorisation?
